Sekenia Williams, Letter of Introduction:
Born in Suffolk, Virginia, Author, Director, Producer, Playwriter, songwriter, Fashion Show Producer, Sekenia Williams has become one of the most veratile figures in the entertainment industry; with a powerful new book out "Soul Exposed", as well as working as an arranger, producer, talent scout, agent and Model Agency Owner. He first performed as part of a family singing group, Sha Sha and the Tots, he concentrated on writing directing, producing, songwriting and production.
His distinctive style of writing landed him a publishing deal with Author house, and his new autobigraphy "Soul Exposed" has brought him even wider exposure, offers from movie companies, record companies and other publishers.
Fiercely independent and ambitious, he signed to Author House Publishing as an Author/ Editor with the understanding that they would share all royalties 50/50 and he would remain in control over his entire project.
In 1999, he opened Beautiful People Model Talent and Casting Ltd. and launched the modeling careers of many young models including intenational Super-model Sehoya.
His solo recording career launched with the album "My Name is Sekenia" and attendant single "Without You." Which he debuted on the Jenny Jones show.
The well-connected Entertainer/Entreprneur was provided with immediate exposure for the Music video that he directed for DJ Kool and Magoo (a long time collaborator of Timberland) entitled "Back-Up Out My Way" received excellent reviews.
He was reluctant to commit himself fully to a career as a performer. He didn't want to get caught up in being an artist and always on the go, he felt that once you do that, it `s hard to get into the studio or at the computer to create.

Sekenia teaches acting on a weekly basis and coaches Nicole Wray and Michelle LeMelle.

The Abasi Bomani Collection was featured via product placement in the film "For Real" (Starring TIm Reid) and in the Music Video "Back-up Out my Way" with Magoo and DJ-Kool.
He also placed the Clothing line on Nicole Wray?抯 Tour, Sister to Sister Magazine, and VERVE magazine.

And was asked by Meoshe to Choreograph a celebrity Fashion Show; celebrity models included Usher, Monica, 112, Escape, and Jagged Edge. He got his first taste of show business at age 3, and started his own band at age 4, called SHA-SHA AND THE TOTS.

In 2001 he created and host his own talk show on Fox 43 ?揃PTV [Beautiful People Television] where he interviewed Celebrities. Celebrity guest have included: Tim Reid, Daphne Reid, Kim Fields, James Avery, Alexis Fields, Rolonda Watts, Steven Williams, Merlin Santana, Kellie Williams, Zina Garrison, Lisa-Rae, Dion Richmond. DJ Clue, Nicole Wray, Sisquo, Jermaine Dupree, Morris Chestnut, Rosie Perez, MC Hammer and Coolio.
Sekenia also wrote, directed and produced all of the commercials that appeared on his show as well as, sold the air-time to sponsors.
Sekenia is a special guest host on VA bases radio talk show, WPCE?抯 Political Points.

In 1999, Sekenia developed BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE MODEL, TALENT & CASTING LTD. and the Beautiful People Theater.
The company manages models, actors and other talent as well as photographs, head shots, and comp cards for entertainers.
Beautiful People Players produces original stage-plays from the beinginig of production to opening night.

Sekenia has worked closely with many Charities he has served as a Chair of Public Relations for the Tim Reid Scholarship Foundation, as well as organized the celebrity parties. Sekenia also produced fundraising fashion shows for NFL Star, Joe Smith ( of the Minnesota Timberwolves). Project Impact, and Youth Matters; as well as he donates time to many area schools for career day.
In 2002 Sekenia founded his very own non-profit charity organization The Beautiful People Players, an organization that encourages young performers to express their interest in the wonderful realm of theater and give them an opportunity to feature their work along side that of their peers across the country.
